Takaro Women Bowlers Win at Wanganui

Two Manawatu pairs contested the final of the Manawatu and West Coast Women’s Bowling Centre’s tournament this afternoon on the St. John's Club green, the finalists being Mesdames Graham and Wackrow (Takaro), who defeated Mesdames Turner and. Scales (Terrace End) by 24 to 22. In the semiifinals Mesdames Graham and Wackrow defeated Mesdames Bishop and Woskett (Hokowhitu), and Mesdames Turner and Scales beat Mesdames Joyce and Pluck (Wanganui).
