Mr. Richard Law Returns to Commons
LONDON, Nov. 21. The Kensington by-election resulted: Eichard Law (Conservative), 15,846; Lancelot Spicer (Liberal), 3659. Majority for Law, 12,287. The by-election resulted from the elevation to the peerage of Sir William Davison. At a general election in August Mr. Law, Minister of State in the Coalition Government, was defeated for West Hull by Mr. S. H. Smith (Labour), bv 18,606 votes to 10,294.
