Red Cross Examinations
Classes iu hygiene and sanitation have carried on in Pahiatua under Mrs. Harold Smith, the lady superintendent of the Red Cross Voluntary Aids, assisted by the Town Clerk, Mr. L. D. Lovelock. The results of the centre examinations which were held a short time ago have now come to hand and are as follows: Elementary, Misses Jean Gardiner, Marjorie Draper and Airini Bandeil all obtained excellent passes. la the intermediate section, Miss M. Shankiin and Miss G. Brown both obtained honours, while Miss M. Blair and Miss J. Cole also passed well.
