Interhouse Gala Day Saturday Next
Arrangements are well in hand for the Pahiatua Interhouse Gala Day and Marching Championships to be held at Rugby Park, Pahiatua, on *Saturday next, November 17. This event always
attracts thousands of spectators to view the colourful displays and brilliant marching evolutions. The Palmerston North City Silver Band will provide the marching music and has consented to provide a special display of band marching. Many events are on the programme, including display and maze marching, flagged marching, massqd teams’ drill, massed parade, teams’ uniform contest, best leader competition, etc. Interhouse marching is now regarded as one of the leading events of the year and the standard of the Pahiatua teams compares with the best in New Zealand.
