TEAMS ANNOUNCED (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, August 13. After Central District beat Northern by 15 to 11 on Saturday, the selectors, Warrant-Officer J. McCarthy and Fly-ing-Officer J. C. Bonham, announced the following North Island Services team to play South Island at Wellington on September 8. Fullback: Wishnowsky (Army, Wellington). Three-quarters: F. L. Pearson (Air Force, Waikato), R. G. McGregor (Army, Wellington), A. Cooper (Army, Auckland). Five-eighths: I. H. Colquhoun (Army, Wellington), G. W. Delamore (Air Force, Taranaki). Halfback: D. A. Barchard (Navy, Auckland). Forwards: D. H. O’Donnell (Army, Wellington), R. White (Army, Wellington), R. F. Bryers (Army, Auckland), K. G. Elliott (Army, Wellington), E. L. Todd (Air Force, Manawatu) capt., J. McCormick (Army, Wellington), A Johnson (Army, Auckland), O. Waldegrave (Navy, Auckland). Reserves: «S. Florence (Air Force, Manawatu), J. Delamore was au absentee from the Central District backline on Saturday owing to a sprained ankle which, it is reported, may prevent him playing in the North-South game at Auckland on August 25.
