The death has occurred of Mr. Wil- ; liam John Morrell, rector of the Otago l Boys’ High School from 1907 to 1933 5 and Chancellor of the University of ' Otago from 1933 to this year. \ A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr. A. teeifert was c passed bv members of the Palmerston North Rotary Club at the weekly meeting yesterday. The president (Mr. G. Pattle) mentioned that Mr. Seifert had formerly been a member of the club J and that he was one of the best known 1 and most widely respected citizens of p the district. Members stood in silence L J for two minutes as a mark of respect. "
