Deceased trained trotters in for some years, his team including Bill, a horse he brought from Australia, where previously he had been associated with tho sport. Later he went to Riccarton, where he trained for Mr. A. Louisson, Dr. M. G. Louisson and Mr. W. Wild. He had lived in retirement for a long time.
