Allied Airmen and Strawberries
Received Friday, 11.50 p.m. LONDON, May 11.
Members of a Dutch resistance group brought in to the Canadian headquarters two Allied airmen who had been hiding from the Germans near Amsterdam and two boxes of strawberries, says the Associated Press* The ooxes were addressed with formal accuracy:
“Their Majesties, Buckingham Palace,” and “Mr. Churchill, 10 Downing Street.” The strawberries were delivered by plane and are the first from Holland since the outbreak of war.
