Japan’s Fuel Supply High Priority Target
Received Friday, 12.46 a.m. NEW YORK, May 10. The United Press correspondent on Guam says the Super-Fortresses dropped between 2000 and 8600 tons of explosives. The targets included the Oshima oil storage area, Japan’s largest; the Tokuyama synthetic fuel factory, the main source for army planes; and the Otake oil rehnery, one of Japan’s largest. General Giles told the press that Japan’s fuel supply will be a high priority target. The Associated press correspondent at Manila repdkts that the Allies hold all the Paomesian oilfields on Tarakan,
