Education Board Protest
The Wanganui Education Board yesterday entered a further protest against the decision of the University Senate not to place the Marton. Taihape, Ohakunc aud Foxton District High Schools on the list of schools able to accredit pupils. The decisions means that boys and girls at these four schools have to sit tho matriculation examination and cannot get a pass on their work during the year. “It is ridiculous,” remarked the chairman. Mr. E. F. Hemingway, “that at a High Hchool, like the Marton one which has done so well, cannot have the privilege of accrediting.”
