SENSATIONAL ENDING TO CONTEST (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. The professional heavyweight wrestling contest at the Town Hall to-night between Lofty Blomfield and Ken Kenneth had a sensational ending. After each man had secured a fall Kenneth floored his opponent with three flying tackles in the seventh round. As he launched a fourth charge .oiomfielri dropped to the mat and Kenneth hurtled through the ropes taking the referee, Mr. Ray Allen, with him. The referee struck his head so heavily on landing that he was unable to return to the ring. Mr. J. W. Hughes, secretary of the Wellington Wrestling Association, then announced: “As the referee is unable to resume I take it upon myself to declare this a no-decision contest.” The bout was the best seen in the Wellington ring for some years.
