Limit Prices for Vegetables
In terms of the all-the-year-round price orders, the limit retail price for onions is increased on June 1 by Id per lb. all over New Zealand. Limit prices for other vegetables controlled by price orders remain unchanged for June. A full schedule of the limit retail prices payable for vegetables during June throughout the North Island is as follows: —Potatoes, 2d per lb.; onions, 3d; pickier onions, "Id; cabbage, 3d; carrots, 2ld; parsnips, 3d; swedes, lEd; silver beet, sd; pumpkin, 23d; kumera, 4d. The 2d per lb. limit retail price for potatoes applies in Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Napier and Gisborne. Outside those cities and boroughs the limit price is 21d per lb.
