Queen Mary’s - Treasures
Art treasures, including pictures and a quantity of silverware and glassware, belonging to Queen Mary, were recovered recently from the cellar of a London firm where they had been buried since tho building was bombed a few weeks ago. All of tho articles were practically undamaged, except some pictures which can be fully restored. J?he pictures recovered include a famous Joshua Reynolds, a Franz Hals, worth about £25,000, and a .Van Dyck, SEoith, ab.oiit £ls*ooo.
