General Eisenhower’s Movements Kept Secret
LONDON, Jan. 6.
General Eisenhower will make liis headquarters in London, says the Evening Standard. An announcement is expected to be made from Allied headquarters when he arrives. General Eisenhower may bring to London many staff officers who served under him at his North African Headquarters. liis movements have been a secret since January 2, when he sent his farewell message to the Allied forces in North Africa.
The Gorman News Agency announced that Rommel has completed* his tour of Holland. He inspected coastal defences in the occupied western territories. The News Agency said the manoeuvres and alarm exercises again proved the high training and fighting worth of the German soldiers.
