U.S. Air Forces Already Trained 3.000,000 Men

Received Friday, 9.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 17. Disclosing that the U.S. Army and Navy have already trained three million pilots, mechanics and navigators, Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker told the Civil Aeronautics Board that the American industry must plan now a vast programme to provide jobs after the war. He suggested that the industry throughout the United States should declare a moratorium on earnings and dividends for three years after the war in order to invest all the profits in addition to cash reserves in an extension of produc tion.
