Grand Victory Ball
Sponsored by the Pahiatua Patriotic Entertainers, the ball held in the Drill Hall last night was up to the usual standard of the Entertainers’ dances. Lively music was supplied by Mrs. Tait's orchestra, while a tasty supper was served by the ladies' committee. A welcome home to Sgt. J. T. Young, who is on furlough from the Middle East, was extended by the Patriotic Society'. M~. S. J. Judd, chairman of the Patriotic Society, made the presentation.
