Warship in 8½ Days
BOSTON, Sept. 1. The Bethlehem Steel Company’s shipyard to-day launched the destroyer escort H.M.S. Fitzroy 8$ days after the keel had been laid. The Fitzroy was built for Britain under the LeaseLend Act. The Bethlehem shipyard this week also established another record, delivering tho destroyer escort U.S.S. Harmon ready for service within 92 days of the keel being laid.
