More Heavy Damage by R.A.F. Planes in Burma
Received Tuesday, 12.55 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 30. R.A.F. fighters patrolling along the Irrawaddy over the Hunter’s Bay area yesterday, sank more than sixty loaded supply sampans and damaged many others, states a New Delhi communique. A river steamer was also destroyed. Railway buildings at Kyaungin and Japanese army huts in the Kalemyo district were set on fire. None of our planes are missing.
