A.N.A. Club Activities
A large attendance was welcomed at the A.N.A. Dance Club during the week-end. The hostesses wero Mesdames M. M. Dane, W. E. Wilson, K. G. Innes and Miss R. Gillies. Miss G. Hankins and Pte. T. J. Newall won the Monte Carlo. Soft drinks were served by Misses R. and W. Whyte and the games were in the charge of Misses N. Price and J. Mitchell. The St. Andrew’s Guild ladies were on duty at the canteen, where they served 300 teas and 63 suppers. The hostesses wero Mesdames A. 13. Fisher, A. C. Scoon, G. Doarlove and Penman, and decorations were the artistic work of Mesdames T. P. Hart and N. D. Stubbs, bowls of Iceland poppies and spring blossom being features. The entertainment was provided by the Girls’ Music Club. At the lounge in George Street Mesdames C. Anderson and G. Forrest and Miss M. Moran were in charge.
