North’s Easy Win Over South in Inter-Island Rugby

WELLINGTON, Aug. 29. North had a comfortable win by 26 to nine over South ip the inter island Army Rugby match at Athletic Park on Saturday before 15,000 spec tators. The winners were a much stronger side than that boaten by Soutu a fortnight ago. Paewai as liveeighth gave a brilliant display, while Johns (fullback), South (centre;, Trukill (half), Coull (lock) and other players were up to All Black standard. For South Novak,.Trude.il and Dobson scored tries. For North Johns con verted two tries, kicked two penalty goals and potted a field goal. Cochrane scored the two tries and South and Murdoch kicked two penalties.
