At the Feilding bi'anch of the W.C.T.U., members stood in silent sympathy with one bereaved. Attention was drawn to the huge quantity of liquor being consumed and the sadness of increased drinking among women, while there was a discussion on the evils of gambling and i-affles. Mi's. Stewart read reports on the various departments of work that branches were undertaking and it was decided to have home meetings during the year.
