The annual match between Wanganui Technical College and Palmerston North Boys’ High School was played at Ilokowhitu yesterday afternoon under ideal circumstances, and resulted in a win for the local team by seven goals to four. Goals were scored for Palmerston North by Lennon (2), De Cleene (2), Dry, Allen and Moxon, and for Wanganui by I. Guerney (2) and D. Mitchell (2). The umpires wero Messrs V. Turner and J. Nichols.
The following are the fixtures for Saturday, July 10: Men’s: Artillery v. Massey CollegeUnited, No. 2 at 1.40 (Messrs McDonald and R. Hart; Broadway v. Air Force B, No. I at 3 p.m. (Messrs Reudle and Martin); High School v. Air Force (Linton) No. 2 at 3 p.m. (Messrs Turner and D. Hoare). Women’s: 1i.5.0.G. v. M.K.M. at 1.40 (Messrs Findlay and Watts); Air Force v. Broadway at 3 p.jn. (Messrs Findlay and Byers).
