A series of weekly 500 parties is a new venture at the National Club and the initial function on Tuesday evening proved most successful. The president of the club (Mr. H. A. Seifeit) welcomed patrons and expressed the hope that the parties would prove as popular as the euchre evenings, which were attracting more and more players weekly. Prize-winners were Mrs. Baigent, Mr. and Mrs. W. Algio, and Mr. O. B. Hills. Hostess duties were carried out by Miss N. Ansin and Miss P. Weldon. NO MORE PILES.
