Maori Sent to Borstal
Henry Tewhiu, a Maori lad, aged 18 years, who had absconded from licensed service in the Walrarapa and subsequently had stolen an overcoat valued at £B, suit valued at £6 and from an American Marine, 100 dollar notes, was sent to Borstal at Invercargill for two years, by Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
