German Attacks Diminish in Intensity
ALLIES REGAIN INITIATIVE IN NORTH Received Monday, 1 a,m. LONDON, Mar. 7. A late despatch from Tunisia says that the German attack in the Northern
sector has diminished in intensity and the Allies have regained the initiative. One tank transporter company carried 3000 tanks in the course of two months during the Western Desert operations without the loss of a single tank. The same R.A.S.O. unit carried into battle a record number of 256 tanks in one convoy at a critical stage of the fighting.
