Cardinal Hinsley Slips Back
Received Tuesday, 12.42 a.m. LONDON, Mar. 1. Cardinal Hinsley, Catholic Archbishop of Westminster, passed a restlegs night and the slight improvement has not been maintained. For years. Cardinal Hinsley has hardly known a period free from pain. Three years ago, his illness caused him to move from London to a tiny village named Hares Street where a house was held in trust for him. There nuns are watching over him. Special prayers were said yesterday at Westminster Cathedral and throughout Britain, including the church in the Cardinal's native village of Carlton, Yorkshire, where his father was a joiner.
