Japs Have Quit Coral Sea
Received Sunday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 8. The Associated Press of America correspondent with the American Fleet in the South Pacific, in a recent swing of the American task force in the Coral Sea, revealed that the enemy had apparently quit these waters. The Americans found that enemy warships were totally absent. They did not encounter snooper planes, although the Mikado’s crippled air power is believed still to be remaining in this area.
