Royal Race Year
Another successful racing season is predicted for the King this year. Big Game and Sun Chariot, who placed the Ling at the head of the winning owners last season, have retired to the stud, but in Tipstaff and Sunblind he has most promising two-year-olds. They are expected to play a prominent part in next year’s classics. So far, neither has done much racing. At the Salisbury meeting recently Sunblind, a filly by Hyperion, from Mystery Ship, finished second iin a six furlongs race. Later in the afternoon, Tipstaff, a colt Fair Trial from Fairy Godmother, was a creditable third in a five furlongs event.
