20 Highranking U.S. Officers Killed

TWO MORE DISASTROUS PLANE CRASHES Received Thursday, 9.10 p.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 27. Twenty, including two generals and 14 other high ranking officers, were killed when two Army planes crashed. Bdr.-General Wash, commanding the Second Air Support Command and Colorado Springs and nine other officers of high rank lost their lives in a crash near Flomaton (Alabama). The other plane carrying a general, two lieut-Colonels and three majors crashed near Mobile (Alaska). All the bodies were badly burned and none have yet been identified.
