Still No Sign of Missing Plane
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 10. A widespread search for the missing plane has continued through the weekend and land parties and planes are working from both the Nelson and Blenheim sides of the area in which it is thought it may have been forced down. The weather improved yesterday but the hilltops remained shrouded in mist and as o result the planes as yet have been unable to cover the whole area. The search will continue, states an official of Union Airways, till all hope of survival Of the occupants is abandoned. The Lockheeds carry a full first aid kit, also some water in the lavatory compartment but no fresh or iron rations, the distances involved in the services being short. A conference was held in Nelson tonight between the parties concerned in the search and plans for continuation I to-morrow, were worked out*
