ARMY GAMES ON SATURDAY The Rugby season opened in the Manawatu on Saturday with the Army competitions, results being as follows: Senior: West Coast A 11 (three tries) beat West Coast B 0; A.S.C. 8 (two tries) beat Taranaki 6 (two penalties); Artillery 16 beat Air Force 6. Junior: West Coast A 6 v. West Coast B 6; Artillery 19 v. Milson 7. Third grade: Kla Toa A 16 v. Feilding Old Boys 9.
