NOW, EVERYBODY! WORK AND PLAY. THE RIGHT BALANCE. As the weeks go by the war imposes the necessity for greater effort and better work on the part of all of us. As the old poem says, its everybody’s job “to do the task that lies at hand, and never try to shirk.” Each of us has to find the means to sustain our energy and efficiency at their best. Wise rest and relaxation are necessary for good work. Alanv people seek relaxation in the cheerful company of a licensed house, and in the enjoyment of their favourite alcoholic beverage. The need of the times is to be moderate in all our actions and pleasures. The law imposes certain restrictions on the salo and use of alcoholic beverages, .and in the interests of good behaviour and national morale all of us must keep within the law.
