Finnish Operations Drawing to End
WILL NOT CARRY ON LONGER THAN NECESSARY LONDON, Nov. 8. The Finnish radio stated: “Military operations are drawing to an end as far as Finland is concerned. It is realised that our frontiers cannot be finally determined until the coming peace conference meets.’’ “Even though the war between the great Powers goes on Finland will not carry on any longer than is necessary for her own safety," said the Finnish radio.
The Finnish Social Democratic Party has asked the Government to ascertain Parliament’s views in a secret session before replying to the United States Noto.
