ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING The 38th annual sports of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School wore held yesterday. The weather was fine but windy, and there was a fair attendance of the public. Three records wore broken. An attractive item during the afternoon was the march past of the various clubs. Wearing athletic attire and club colours, the boys presented a fine spectacle of physical fitness. Albion -were adjudged the winners, with Gordon in second place. At the conclusion of the sports the championship cups were presented by Mrs. Oram, wife of Mr. M. H. Oram, chairman of the High Schools Board of Governors. Mr. J. Murray (rector) expressed the thanks of the school to all who had assisted and referred appreciatively to the interest taken by the public, particularly those who had come a long distance.
