Men’s A grade: 2ZA Cubs 30 v. Clausens 11; Physical Welfare 26 v. Y.M.D. 13. Men’s B grade: Y.M.D. won by default from Hi-Y’s. Monday, September 1. Ladies’ A grade: Woolworths 17 ▼. Broadway 8; Public Service 24 v. Garners 14; Glaxo 34 v. G. and B. 5. Ladies’ B grade: Hutchins 40 v. Symington Stars 11; Libertyland Aces 22 v. West End 15; Economic Laundry 20 v. Public Service 12. Men’s B grade; Hi-Y’s won by default from P.D.C.
