MANGATAINOKA BEATS HOKAHBI IN FIRST ROUND On. Thursday evening a Mangatainoka team of miniature riflemen journeyed to Hukanui to compete in the first round for tho Byrne Shield. Mangatainoka won the shoot by 18 points, the scores being as follows: — Mangatainoka team: W. Kcast 9S, C. Brown 06, M. Hughes 01, H. Grubner SO, R. Galbally 01, L. J. Rusden 06, K. Prydc 05, C. Allsop 90, V. Fergus 00, V. Brown 91; total, 927. Hukanui team; R. W. Foss 98, C. R. Eddie 93, C. Parker 96, C. Coster 96, J. Dougherty 95, B. Dougherty 80, E. Matson 85, IC. Udy 90, L. Mabey 89, T. Atkins 87; total, 909.
