Art Union Drawn
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. fi. The following are the results of the drawing of the “Lu<*k For All” art First prize, £2000: ’322823, 11. J. Ranger, 42 Kinlock Street, St. Albans, Christchurch. Second prize: 357904, “ Rq,ta Rascals,” Alarton butt. Third prize: 95473, “All for Luck,” OntK ni. Fourth prize: 324234, “Reaper and Binder.” Templeton. Fifth prize: 46001, “Thirteen,” Long Drive, St. Heliers. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 6. The winner of the first prize of £2OOO in the art union is Mr. H. J. Ranger, who is w’ell known as a pioneer motorist and bowler. Mr. Ranger is now aged 78, and is going blind. He has no plans for spending the money, but believes that he may be able to use it to restore his eyesight.
