Feilding Railway Traffic
INCREASED PASSENGER REVENUE According to the returns for the fourweekly period ended July .19, passenger revenue at the Feilding railway station increased by over £IOO. Generally revenue over the poriod was up by just over £6OO, heavier live stock traffic contributing largely to this increase. Details of the outward traffic together with the figures for the same period last year, given in parentheses, are as follows: Passengers, 3311 (1420); cattle a and calves, 1303 (869); sheep and pigs, 15,106 (8102); goods tonnage, 1008 (10S3). timber, (5 tons). Revenue: Passenger, £6BO (£566); parcels, £53 ( £49); goods, £2543 (£2038); miscellancous 4 £4 (£10); total, £3276 (£2666).
