The Associated Auctioneers report on *the above sale, held yesterday, as 'follows: A moderate yarding of sheep, ! dairy cattle and pigs were offered to a fair attendance of buyers. Sheep wera again in keen demand, hoggets in particular attracting buyers at prices above last week’s sale. Dairy stock sold at late rates, while pigs appreciated in price on previous sales. Quotations: Wether hoggets (good), 23s Id, 22s 6d to 21s; medium sorts, 17s 6d to 16s 9d; aged ewes, r.w. S.D. lams, 15s 6d; dairy heifers (good), £lO 10s, £lO tq £9 10s; medium sorts, £8 5s to £7 12s 6d; late calvers, £6 to £5 7s 6d; dairy cows, £9 10s, £9 5s to £8 10s; backward sorts, £7 10s, £7 to £6 10s. Pigs: S3s, 32s fld, 31s to 28s 6d; weaners, ISs to 16s 6d.
