BAN ON ESQUIRE Owing to the refusal of Esquire to race over the tan crossing going out of the straight at Ellerslie, the committee of the Auckland Racing Club has decided to refuse his entry for any races beyond a mile. However, he will be able to compete in races at a mile and under, in which he will not be required to race over the crossing.
