Representative Rugby
ARMY TEAM TO MEET BUSH TO-DAY A further contingent of troops has arrived in Dannevirke from Waiouru and amongst them it is expected will be some men who will augmout the Army team. Cliff Porter, the well-known 1925 All Black captain, is the, selector and coach, and Bill Feasley is their manager. The Bush selector (Air. Stan Olliver) has picked the following team to represent Bush: — Full back: J. Tait. Three-quarters: W. Twentyman, L. Hills, H. Tartner. Five-eighths: S. Staples, D. Hunt. Halfback: E. McNeil. Forwards: Back row, E. Welch; middle row, Braddick, L. Wenham, J. Cavanagh, T. Upston; front row, D. Gunn, B. Smith, T. Verry. Emergency forwards: J. Reichenbach anad R. Bourke. Reserve backs: R. Fulton and S. Wolland. The team is to assemble at the Commercial Hotel at 1.45 p.m. and bring town towels. The referee will be Air. V. Brown. The match will commence at 2.45 p.m. and not as previously advertised.
