At the Mannwntu Heads, on May loth, 1911, James Robson Anderson, late of Foxton Line, Palmerston North; aged «1 years. 3ARNES. —On May 15th, 1041, at the Palmerston North Hospital, Arthur John Barnes, of Te Matai, beloved father of Ethel and Stan.; aged 73 vears. Private interment. (Thou. Griggs and Son, Funeral Directors.) GOLDNEY. —On May loth, 1941 (suddenly) at Palmerston North, Frances Marian Marshall, widow of Colonel Thomas Holbrow Goldney, C. 8., Indian Army, and eldest daughter ot the late Rev. James Lang, Stirling, Scotland; aged 70 years. Private cremation. (Thos. Griggs and bon, Funeral Directors.) KNOWLES. —On May 15th, 1941, at the Palmerston North Hospital, Francis Speake Knowles, of 199 Park Boad, Palmerston North; aged iyears. Private interment. (Thos. Griggs and Son, Funeral Directors.) TURNER. —On May 14th, 1941, at his residence, 58 Victoria Avenue, Palmerston North, William, dearly beloved husband of Amy Amelia Turner; aged 79 years.
