Singapore Linked With San Francisco
NEW PAN-AMERICAN AIRWAYS SERVICE Received Friday, 1 a.m. NEW YORK, May 1. Pau- American Airways announced that the Civil Aeronautic Authority has approved of the extension of the trans-Pacific service from Manila to Singapore beginning on May 2, thus directly linking San Francisco and Singapore for the first time in history and also bringing the British naval base nearer the United States.
