Mr. Edward Caradus, chief inspector of secondary schools, has been appointed adviser on education to the New Zealand Naval Board.
Mr. R. A. Noedl, who now lives in Melbourne, is enjoying a week’s holiday with his friends in Palmerston North. If a seat is available he may fly back to Australia.
During Rt. Hon. P. Fraser’s absence abroad, Hon. W. Nash will be aetingPrime Minister and will also take control of the Legislative, Audit and Electoral Departments. Hon. P. C. Webb, Postmaster-General and Minister of Labour, will in addition take over the Police Department.
