Woodville Home Guard
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Just a little helpiul criticism with reference to our Homo Guard. 1 tinlfk there could be a good deal doue to teach our men to shoot without actually liriug a rifle. There are many men who have never fired a rifle, and if we were needed in an emergency a man who can use a rifle would have a great deal more confidence in himself. The above could be done on a blackboard, showing where to aim and also how to allow for the wind, elevation, etc. When arc we going to wako up?— I am, etc., WOODVFILE HOME GUARDSMAN.
