City Council Attendances
MAYOR ATTENDS 479 MEETINGS IN PAST THREE YEARS
Attending 208 council and committee meetings out of a maximum possible for him of 220, Cr. D. F. Smillie had the best attendance record, on a percentage basis, of any member of the Palmerston North City Council during the past three years. However, from the point of view of most meetings attended, the Mayor (Mr. A. E. Mansford) had tho best record, he having attended no less than 479 meetings out of a maximum of 554.
A table presented at the final meeting of the council last night revealed the following figures:—
