Seas (New Zealand waters): Becoming rough north of East Cape and off shore north of Westport; otherwise moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong northeasterly winds with rough seas in tho northern portion and fresh easterlies with rather rough seas in the southern portion. Weather: Cloudy to overcast generally with patches of mist and drizzle along the east coast; scattered rain over the Auckland Province and extending southward to Canterbury and Westland. Temperatures: Cool to moderate. YESTERDAY’S TEMPERATURES Maximum 59 degrees F.
