British Blockade of Vichy
(British Official Wireless.) Received Wednesday, 9.20 p.jn. RUGBY, April 22.
Since January 1, eighteen French ships have been intercepted by the British blockade control, the Minister of Economic War, stated in the House of Commons. Of these eleven had been brought into Gibraltar and the remainder to other ports. Four were outward bound from unoccupied France, one from occupied France and the rest were inward bound.
