T.U.C. LEADER’S N.Z. VISIT
; (PA.) AUCKLAND, April 22. I Bearing a message from organised | labour in Britain, Mr William Holmes, ! past president of the Trades Union Congress and general secretary of the agricultural workers of the United Kingdom, is expected to arrive at Auckland this week. He will be met by the Minister of Labour, Mr P. C. Webb, the mayor. Sir Ernest Davis, and labour representatives. A civic reception will be tendered on Thursday i evening prior to his departure for { Wellington, where he will meet members of the Government and subsequently visit other parts of New Zeal land to deliver the message to trades unions and the general public.
