Lytton Street School Committee

At a meeting of the Lytlon Street School Committee held on Monday evening (Mr. C. V. Jewell, chairmau, presiding) the headmaster, Mr. W. H. Smith, reported that the roll stood at 362, but had been seriously down for the past live weeks. The roll for the weeks concerned were 312, 283, 255, 25(i and 235. The causes were summer siekuess, whooping cough and mumps, all three of which had been very prevalent. Diphtheria immunisation treatment had been completed.
